It's very hard for me to say goodbye to Harry Potter. I have said so to my friends many'a times, and I keep getting the same response:
"Well you can always read or watch them over again" which is very true. BUT, it wouldn't be 'the same'
Harry Potter was my childhood. From the moment I stepped out of the theatre for the first movie when I was five, I begged my mom to get me the books at Barnes and Nobel on the way home. Harry Potter is so entwined in my childhood and who I am, that seeing the story wrap up is nearly unbearable. It was a constant for so long, and now, *poof*
Goodbye, childhood. You shall be shared with my children one day, so that you can be as important to them as you were to me.
Thank you, J.K. Rowling. For making me who I am, and telling the greatest story about love ever told.
